Houston, Texas was the scene of most recent Downtown Engagement Photo Session. I had the pleasure of working with Miranda McCray and Samual Short. Miranda and Sam are both Mississippi natives but they have transplanted to Houston, Texas. The session was pretty fun because these two have a great sense of humor and the smiles spilled through the photos. The daylight portion of the engagement session was at Market Square Park which is historic area of Downtown Houston.
I recently had the chance to work with an amazing couple, Ashford and AP. I met with them prior to their shoot and they were warm and sweet. Ashford seems quiet and reserved but AP, on the other hand, you could tell had some adventurism within him. So the day of the session the Astro's were having their Championship parade, which means the traffic was tragic but Ashford brought the slay with her and AP held his own. The session was colorful, upbeat, and very fashion forward. These two have an amazing sense of style and I can't wait to see what the wedding has to offer.
Kaitlyn and Christian have a unique love that many may never get to witness and I was honored to capture their special day. Katilyn is a quiet but cheerful young lady and Christian is a comedian but sharp as blade. Together these to make a formidable couple. After their engagement session which we did earlier in the year, I expected the wedding to be elegant and a blast at the least. Alexia of the TheSavvyConsultants delivered once again; she and her team completely revamped the look of the Hughes Manor venue. The floral arrangements may have been some of the best I've seen all year, but that’s what I have grown to expect from Plant N Petals. The day begin at Houston's historic hotel, Hotel ICON, which is located in the heart of downtown. Kim Clark was the makeup artist for the day, and Kim always does an amazing job. Christian and the fellas got ready at home and worked with my second photographer Mike Munoz. From Hotel Icon, Kaitlyn and her bridesmaids rode a trolley to the midtown church where we captured some amazing portraits. Their first look was a happy and fun moment shared between the two.
I had the pleasure of working Lynn and Wesley, a fellow former University of Houston football teammate. So we decided on making Downtown Houston our engagement photo session playground. These two are an awesome couple, and have a great energy between the two of them
Elmo and Christa are the true definition of two people marrying their best-friend. Christa is a light hearted spirt and Elmo with his witty comments through the session made it a fun one. During our entire time at Chateau Cocomar,
This past weekend I had the chance to work with these two young and very talented models. Pierce and Brenna were featured models at a well known Instagram Meet up in Houston, this past weekend. We were in the Market Square Park which is one of the nicest parks in Downtown Houston area, and had many great elements. These two have great smiles and amazing baby blue eyes, but on top of their great looks they have warm and great personalities as well. This was a fun shot but hey don't take my word for it, let the images tell you.
Brittany and Warren have been an awesome couple to work with, I'm actually sad to see them go. These two are great people and I enjoyed every moment of their wedding. I knew that we were going to work well together based off the engagement session that did with me late last year. Brittany is a bright and funny young lady, and Warren is the perfect mix of cool and calm.
Their wedding was held at The Heights Villas in Houston, Texas. Brittany and her bridesmaids were a blast and they enjoyed themselves through the whole process. They killed it with the matching fuzzy flip flops. Warren and his groomsmen were sharp. When they both read these specials notes they had prepared for each other, Brittany's love for Warren shined through. As she read his letter you could tell what he meant to her. Warren only lost his chill demeanor when he saw his beautiful bride come down the isle.
I had the chance to work with this amazing couple, who met in medical school and now both medical doctors. Clayton and Nikeisha look great together but their love is far deeper than skin deep. Nikeisha was excited to claim her groom and gladly embraced her husbands culture even though she has her own, which is Jamaican. Clayton is the son of a very influential figure in the Houston Igbo community, so that set the staged for a very grand and exciting night.
Candice and Prince's big day had arrived, and it was a grand event. Ashton Garden is an absolutely gorgeous venue and their chapel is one of a kind with the open window layout. This couple enjoyed their big day in style. Prince is one of the best grooms that I have ever had the chance to work with. He was full of energy and ready and willing to do anything to make the day go great. Prince's suit was stellar and his traditional wear was current and stylish. You may notice an image of a shoe that he wore that day and I'm a big fan of them. Candice and her bridesmaids were a blast, and one of them in particular had me and the whole crew laughing the entire day. Candice was chill and mellow most of the day, her make-up was amazing, and her dress was stunning. Candice and he crew were a bunch of fun to photograph.
