The Houstonian Hotel Wedding featuring Amanda & Simon 11-19-16

After meeting Amanda and Simon, I walked away knowing these two shared a special bond. The way their answers seamlessly fit together, one could concur that they were both on the same accord. Amanda, a teacher, had a bubbly and excited energy about her. Simon with his charming Australian accent relayed their exceptions for their special day.

I arrived at the Houstonian Hotel and was blown away by this amazing oak tree that was in the center of the whole enclosure. The outdoor feel to the wedding was amazing and the weather could not have been better. Amanda and her closes friends were getting prepared for the  ceremony, and let me tell you that this group of ladies were a great laugh. Simon and his friends were pleasant as well. Amanda's dress and shoe combination were to die for, I literally gave the dress it's own impromptu photo session. Amanda's parent were beyond happy and shard a great deal of intimate moments with her, but the one that almost brought me to tears was the first look between her and her father.

The ceremony was held in front of the large oak tree and was absolutely astonishing. The guitarist and cellist were a great touch. There were beautiful words and some laughs exchanged between the two. Kat Creech of Kat Creech Events had been running the show to this point but the reception was styled beautifully and the mixologist she hired was a great touch. The wedding ceremony was great and the reception was an absolute blast. I personally had a great time capturing this wedding and I wish Amanda and Simon the best.
