Houston once again BossLife had an amazing event. Rico’s exact words were "We have to make it bigger and better every year!". Well the only way they can one up this year’s event is by giving me an award, or having it on the moon, because the decorand atmosphere were out of this world. Deronica Horn the CEO of Lasting Empressions did an amazing job bringing this all together. The Corinthian is one of Houston premiere event venues boasting tons of square footage in the heart of downtown. The staff is great and the venue has a very upscale feel to it. The ice sculptures provided by Ice Occasions brought an elegance to the event, and GTX killed it with the uplighting and the batman like BossLife light on the outside of the Corinthian was a great touch. The BossLife center piece on the floor was the icing on the cake, I have never personally seen one that was in the shape of a circle. Lace Vinyl did an awesome job with it. Beanz and Kornbread provided a nice and easy sound that you could groove to between Dj Duffey spinning new tracks.
Once the Bosses had arrived they stood outside and gave onlookers a chance to see the types of vehicles bosses drive. One caught my attention with it’s blood red interior, and of course it was a convertible Rolls Royce (BOSSLIFE). Big Krit was in attendance and he took the time to join the bosses in some photos. Once they had their fill of Bossing Up they made their grand entrance which was lead by the Bayou City Brass Band. There were drinks and plenty of food, and the atmosphere was set for a great event. Several different people where awarded for their BossLife actives, such as J Prince, Andre Johnson, Unity Bank just to name a few who received awards. Slim Thug took the time to thank the awardees. Once we got all the formalities out the way the party began and who better to Dj then Houston's Own Dj Hi-C of the Go Dj’s(he is from Dallas but we are claiming him). This was an event not to miss, but hey don't take my word for it.
